Partnering with the Energy Action Network (EAN), students in the spring 2021 Environmental Studies Community-Engaged Practicum are contributing to EAN’s Replace Your Ride (RYR) program. The goal of RYR is to help low-income Vermonters switch to clean transportation options affordably, while also accelerating the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from transportation in Vermont. EAN asked students to provide critical program support through 1) conducting supporting research and developing critical background materials for project implementation in Vermont, and 2) developing survey/interview materials to support outreach activities aimed at strengthening the impact of, and building support for, the Replace Your Ride project from stakeholders across Vermont.
